TTableLift

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

The short version: TableLift collects no data about you. Everything runs on your device. No table you export — and no page you scan — ever leaves your browser.

What TableLift is

TableLift ("Lift any table off the page") is a browser extension and web app that exports HTML tables and ARIA grids to Excel (.xlsx), CSV, TSV, Markdown, and JSON. All extraction, conversion, and workbook building happens locally, in your browser, using your device's computing resources.

What data we collect

None. TableLift does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, usage data, or content you process.

Specifically, TableLift does not collect:

Where processing happens

Every feature — page scanning, table extraction, CSV/TSV/Markdown/JSON serialization, Excel workbook generation, locale normalization, and table stitching — runs entirely within your browser using standard web APIs. No content you interact with is sent to any server operated by us or any third party.

Local storage

TableLift uses your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) to remember your preferences, your Pro license status, and — if you use the Pro features — your local history and "append mode" stash. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to any server. Removing the extension removes it.

The only network request TableLift can make

When you choose to enter a Pro license key, TableLift sends that key to Gumroad (api.gumroad.com) over HTTPS to verify your purchase. This is the sole network request the extension can ever make. No other data is included in that request, and no content you have processed is ever transmitted. If you never enter a license key, TableLift makes zero network requests.

Analytics and tracking

TableLift contains no analytics libraries, telemetry, error-reporting services, or third-party tracking scripts of any kind. We have no visibility into how you use it.

Cookies

TableLift does not use cookies.

Children's privacy

Because TableLift collects no data from anyone, it is fully compliant with laws protecting children's privacy (including COPPA). We do not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.

Permissions

TableLift requests three browser permissions:

TableLift requests no host permissions and does not access any website automatically or in the background.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Because TableLift collects no data, meaningful changes to this policy are unlikely.
